When you join CPA as a Full, Student or Support Worker member, you automatically become a member of both the National Association and your Provincial Branch or Territorial Council. CPA’s National and Branch offices work together on issues that affect our members collectively. We stay informed of each others’ strategic priorities, and we speak with a unified voice on matters of health policy and development of the profession.
Branches also offer unique services to their members that vary province-by-province, and provide additional value to members. A few examples of services offered through Provincial Branches include home and auto insurance programs (select provinces), advocacy with provincial governments regarding legislation or funding decisions impacting the profession, fee negotiations with insurers, public awareness and media relations activities, and much more.
